During my minor 'Textiles' at AMFI (Amsterdam Fashion Institute) I had to create my own textiles collection. This collection contained 30 own made prints and also 25/30 own made or manipulated textiles.

My concept was all about the fact that young girls all look the same nowadays. They are losing their self expression. Another growing problem amongst it is the burn-out or even depression they suffer from. I believe this mainly grows because of the social pressure and social media. Your whole life has to look as perfect as possible, including your appearance. With my textiles collection I want to encourage these young women to show their imperfect sides.
